Justin Timberlake has signed on to join the cast of Mike Myers’ next comedy The Love Guru. The film is about Myer’s character who is raised in an Indian ashram by a group of love gurus. As an adult he moves back to the US to seek out fame and forture by becoming a self-help love guru. Timberlake plays the character of a famous Los Angeles Kings hockey player Jacques Grande, who begins dating his rival’s wife out of revenge this send the wife’s husand to seek help from The Love Guru.
Already casted are Jessica Alba who plays the owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vern Troyer best known as Mini Me in the Austin Power’s movies as he plays the Maple Leaf’s head coach.
Production is set to start next month as soon as Timberlake wraps up his world tour.
